This old fortress, located in the harbor of São Tomé, is now used as a museum and hosts a religious art collection and artifacts from colonial times.
One of the strangest things is the remains of one of the cacao kings stored in a box under his painting. From the roof of the museum, you have a good view over the ocean, and the lighthouse is still in use today.
