Pick up from the hotel at 08:30 am and start the tour, and return at 16:30
The Infante D. Henrique plantation was abandoned shortly before the independence. Today covered with vegetation, it is located 18 Km from the city of Santo Antonio. Along the road to Infante, was passes by Nova Estrela, terreiro Velho, and Robeira Fria.
From the place called Baracão, the road leading to Infante is the limit of the Natural Park. Monkeys, endemic birds, orchids, medicinal plants, and typical volcanic rocky formations can be seen along the way to the abandoned roça. For those who like to walk, it is possible to reach Praia Seca, an isolated fishing community at the far South of the island.
