Pick up from hotel at 08:30 am and start the tour and return at 16:30
The Infante D. Henrique plantation was abandonned shortly before the independance. Today covered with vegetation, it is located 18 Km form the city of Santo Antonio. Along the road to Infante, was pass by Nova Estrela, terreiro Velho and Robeira Fria.
From the place called Baracão, the road leading to Infante is the limit to the Natural Park. Monkeys, endemic birds, orquids, medicinal plants and typical volcanic rocky formations can be seen along the way to the abandonned roça. For those who like to walk, it is possible to reach Praia Seca, an isolated fishing community at the far South of the island.
